OHP is a fully funded, expert-led 12-week media project for young people aged 16-18.
Create an 8-episode video podcast series for public release and learn professional storytelling and production skills while you make it.

Supported by: The National Lottery Community Fund.

This is a fully funded project that gives you real work experience, so we need you to:
• Commit to the project dates.
• Attend in-person sessions (travel supported).
• Work as part of a small team.
• Take part and support each other as you create.
You’ll work in a small team to create a video podcast series, from idea to final release.
Along the way, you’ll learn how real creative projects come together: planning, filming, shaping stories, and sharing them with an audience.
Over 12 weeks, you’ll take part in guided sessions with professionals (around 8 hours in person), alongside project work you complete together.

What actually makes someone belong?
Over 12 weeks, you’ll create an 8-episode video podcast series built from real conversations with people in our community, the ones we see every day, but rarely stop to truly listen to.
You’ll explore questions like:
• How different is “different,” really?
• Why do some friendships just click, and others don’t?
• What makes us choose who we let in?
Cost:
£1,500 value, fully funded, no cost to you. Free for all participants, supported by The National Lottery Community Fund.

By the end of the course, you’ll build skills employers look for:
Communication • Teamwork • Project planning • Time management • Creativity • Resilience • Problem solving • Leadership • Digital storytelling • Media literacy.
